Inspire Yourself!
Abounding Inspiration
As mentioned in last month’s article, inspiration is hard to come by. What inspire you? What drags you out of bed in the morning? What cause you to keep putting one foot in front of the other? What happens when hard times come?
I remember being overwhelmed after the death of my husband. In my grief and mourning I wrote a recipe to help me not give up on my dreams. Following is the recipe that helped me survive. I call the recipe Unlimited Measurements.
Abounding perseverance. Steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success.
Determination. Firmness of purpose; resoluteness, the process of establishing something.
Conquering your fears through prayer. F.E.A.R means False Evidence Appearing Real. After praying, face each fear, one fear at a time.
Renewing your mind by reading God’s Word. True transformation can only occur through attaining the mind of God. You can only attain God’s way of thinking through reading His word.
Becoming dedicated. Devote (time, effort, or oneself) to a particular task or purpose.
Forgiving your past failures. If you’re still alive, you haven’t failed yet. You can still attain success.
Embracing the freedom to dream. Without a dream you die. Keep dreaming your dream.
Accepting your future - with optimism and hope.
This recipe worked for me? I added one ingredient per day. Soon, I felt a rising up within the depths of my spirit that motivated me to push towards my future. Stay inspired. Push forward.
